NDIS Psychologist

How Much Does an NDIS Psychologist Cost?

Navigating NDIS funding for mental health support should be clear and straightforward. At Dante Psychology, services are billed strictly in accordance with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements, meaning there are no out of pocket costs for participants with adequate funding.

  • Funding Category: Psychology sessions are typically funded under your Capacity Building: Improved Daily Living budget.

  • Plan Managed Clients: If you have a plan manager, you do not need to pay upfront. I will send all invoices directly to them for seamless processing.

  • Self Managed Clients: I provide compliant invoices immediately after each session, allowing you to easily claim the cost back through your NDIS portal.

  • Transparent Agreements: Before therapy begins, we will outline all session costs and report writing fees in a clear Service Agreement to ensure complete transparency.

How to Access NDIS Psychology Services

Getting started with a new psychologist under the NDIS is a simple process designed to ensure you get the right support for your goals. Follow these steps to begin:

  • Check Your Budget: Confirm you have available funds under the Improved Daily Living category in your current NDIS plan.

  • Reach Out: Contact my clinic with your NDIS details, plan dates, and the specific goals you want to achieve through therapy.

  • Initial Assessment: Your first appointment will focus on understanding your unique needs, reviewing your plan goals, and developing a tailored treatment pathway.

  • Service Agreement: We will establish a formal agreement that details the schedule of supports, ensuring therapy aligns with your allocated budget.

  • Plan Review Reports: When it is time for your NDIS reassessment, I will provide the required clinical evidence and progress reports to support your ongoing funding needs.
