Anxiety, OCD, & Stress
Online & In-Person Psychological Support
For individuals seeking support with their anxiety, I offer expert guidance and therapy through online psychology sessions. For those looking for in-person psychological support, my office is located in North Brisbane/Moreton Bay. I specialise in treating anxiety, OCD, and stress with evidence-based interventions.
If anxiety, obsessive thoughts, constant rumination, and stress are affecting your daily life, making it hard to engage meaningfully, stay focused, or find fulfillment and joy, psychological therapy can help.
How does Psychological Therapy work?
I provide psychological therapy based out of Brisbane, Australia. Providing mental health support via Telehealth, Video and Phone Calls, and In Person. This offers a seamless and accessible solution to mental health care.
To tackle stress and anxiety, we will explore their root causes, build practical skills for managing them in daily life, and develop strategies that put you back in control of your life, rather than letting anxiety and stress take charge.
As an integrative psychologist, I draw from various therapeutic approaches, combining the most effective elements of each. This provides us with a diverse range of tools and strategies to tailor our work together, ensuring we always have effective methods to address your challenges and work toward meaningful improvement. I use strategies from CBT, ACT, EMDR, & MI, these are all different styles of therapy which integrate well together.
Specifically when working with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), I utilise the gold-standard therapeutic approach, which is known as Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), a form of CBT created specifically to treat OCD.
How can psychology help with anxiety & stress?

Addressing Root Causes
Psychological therapy helps uncover the underlying factors contributing to anxiety and stress, such as past experiences, trauma, negative thought patterns, or overwhelming life circumstances. By understanding these root causes, we can identify triggers and develop insights into how these challenges affect your daily life. This foundational awareness is the first step toward breaking the cycle of anxiety and stress.

Developing Practical Tools
Therapy equips you with evidence-based techniques to manage anxiety and stress in real time. These tools may include cognitive strategies to manage unhelpful thoughts, mindfulness practices, relaxation exercises, and more. By incorporating these practical skills into your daily routine, you can navigate challenges with greater confidence and resilience, leading to a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Gaining Long Term Resilience
In addition to managing immediate symptoms, psychological therapy focuses on building lasting emotional strength and coping mechanisms. This might involve improving self-awareness, enhancing problem-solving skills, and fostering a sense of control over your emotions through controlled exposure. Over time, these strategies empower you to approach life’s challenges with greater stability and ensure anxiety and stress no longer dominate your experience.
Tailored Therapy Experience
During our initial session, we’ll dedicate time to properly understand your unique identity and the challenges you’re facing in your life.
Together, we’ll create a personalised treatment plan with goals that matter to you and which are aimed at maximizing your potential and enhancing your overall well-being.
